Cycling Rentals offers full and half day, guided or self-guided Bicycle Day Trips that include bike rental, detailed route maps and bike pick-up & drop-off from easy to reach locations in your area. Choose one of our exciting and distinct one day bike tours and enjoy beautiful sights from a bicycle saddle.

Cycling Rentals & Tours

Self-Guided

Includes Bike Pick up & drop off; a lightweight road or mountain bike with front bar bag (with mini tool, pump, spare tube & lock), helmet, detailed route map & site information leaflet (opening times & prices), snacks and drink, and a CTTC monogrammed water bottle. Choose this option if you want to take your time and enjoy the ride and sights at your own pace.

Guided

Includes all of the above plus a full-time guide & mechanic with an in-depth knowledge of the area you're in. All Off Road trips are guided. Choose this option if you would prefer a more in-depth experience and would like some company along the way.

Put together a 6 person group and you ride for FREE! 8 people maximum. No minimum group size.

Custom trips and extended shuttle service can be arranged on request.

What to Expect Our rides are a great way of taking in the sights and enjoying quite roads. A moderate level of physical fitness is required. Sintra is hilly so these can be challenging rides! Bring comfortable riding shoes with a firm sole & layered clothes rather than heavy jackets. Sun glasses and Sun Screen are recommended! Helmets are required & are provided by us. Pick-up & Drop-off We have scheduled pick-up & drop-off points as listed under each itinerary. Our meeting points are easy to reach land marks such as train stations, bus depots or similar. Guided or Self Guided Off Road Day Trips always include a guide for safety reasons. On Road Trip prices are quoted as Self-Guided & Guided. You can choose the guided option on any Day Trip.
