Day to DayDay 1 – Arrival in San Sebastián

Day 3 – Lekunberri to Doneztebe 57 Km / 35 mi
Today’s ride explores the quiet interior of northern Navarre, climbing through the rolling landscapes of the Basaburua valley on scenic rural roads surrounded by forests, limestone ridges, and traditional Basque villages. After cresting the high point between valleys, enjoy a rewarding descent into the Malerreka region, finishing in Doneztebe Day 4 – Elgorriaga to Hondarribia 45 Km / 28 mi
After a short connection to Doneztebe, join the Vía Verde del Bidasoa and follow this scenic greenway along the Bidasoa River as it gently descends toward the Atlantic. Passing through forests, small villages, and former railway tunnels, the car-free path leads all the way to the coast before finishing in Hondarribia, a picturesque harbor town known for its colorful fishing quarter and historic walled center. Day 5 – Hondarribia Loop to Saint-Jean-de-Luz 40 Km / 25 mi
Today’s cross-border loop ride takes you from Spain into the French Basque Country via Hendaye before climbing gently through rural countryside and descending into the charming seaside town of Saint-Jean-de-Luz. Day 6 – Hondarribia to San Sebastián 30 Km / 19 mi
The final ride follows one of the Basque Country’s most iconic cycling routes with the climb of Mount Jaizkibel, famous from the Clásica San Sebastián race.
