Meet Your Guides
Good bikes and great rides can certainly make for wonderful day of cycling, but Exceptional Guides really make it happen and our guides love to do just that. They know not only the lay of the land but also what makes the locals tick, what to do, what not to do, what to not to miss and offer you an altogether more engaging experience.
GonçaloWhen he is not making the cover of the national mountain biking magazine, or spending quality time with his family, Gonçalo can be found taking other families around his native Lisbon and Sintra or guiding seasoned mountain bikers along Sintra's exceptional mtb trails. His warm and friendly nature have earned him many friends over his more that 15 years of professional cycling.

Mr RickySince his childhood in the green and pleasant land of Galicia in northern Spain, Enrique has been riding the two wheels in all their incarnations: from trot along scooters to BMW sports tourers with fixies in between. He is loved by all for his exceptional sense of humour & indecipherable speech and is an expert photographer to boot.

MartinWith more than a passing interest in bicycles since his very first, all steel BMX in the 1980's, Martin has had a passion for cycling that led him to taking it on as a business. Although with little time these days to guide tours, he is a pleasure to ride with, if you don't mind listening to him rattle on about everything under the sun.

RalphFor the trail and freeride enthusiasts, Ralph is the man to follow: he has been riding the most technical trails in Sintra since before they were trails and adds a friendly welcome to the uninitiated, making their first attempts in the world of big hit MTB. He carries a first aid kit on all tours!
